The building was designed by the Spanish architect Ivan Mata .

An acoustics firm in Barcelona provided support during the design of the building’s forms and volumes, whilst an acoustic engineering firm in Asti advised on the windows and doors and the insulation materials for Music Room and Control Room.

In line with ecological principles (green building), the entire structure of the building is constructed from XLam timber supplied by the Bonelli Legnami sawmill

La Sala Musica, di 51m2, è dotata di un alto isolamento ed ha delle caratteristiche acustiche ideali per suonare, ascoltare, registrare soprattuto – ma non solo – in sessioni live. E dotata di parquet (rovere) e riscaldamento a pavimento.

It is equipped with a state-of-the-art dBTechnologies audio system (IS210TB, Sub IS115SB, monitors FLEXSYS FMX12), digital and analogue underfloor cabling connected to the control room, and Dante protocol.

It has been designed for rehearsals, recording, live-streaming broadcasts, filmed intimate concerts, and organising open days at the end of residencies.

The Control Room, measuring 10m², communicates directly with the Music Room. It is equipped with Neumann KH120A monitors, and dynaudio BM5

The resident sound engineer is Enrico Tortarolo.

In these spaces, we offer expertise and knowledge in the fields of composition, sound creation, musical research, spatialisation and technologies for sound installations. Access is available to technological expertise developed at the Ircam Music Research Institute in Paris.

The RaRio Space is designed to accommodate artists for medium- to long-term residencies. It features guest bedrooms, two bathrooms and a comfortable, spacious communal living room and kitchen.
